Waldqualle

Planet Schwarzwald

A miniature planet, A black forest. The process began with collecting the complex, fractal support structures that 3D printers usually discard. These forgotten lattices weren't waste; they were the rigid, skeletal remains of a synthetic undergrowth, which were anchored onto a Styrofoam sphere. Their dark, angular branches radiate outward, forming the core structure of this miniature world. Finally, to resurrect this technological ruin into an elemental landscape, lichen and moss were introduced, anchoring these organic textures to the synthetic skeleton. This merging of realms created a dense, wild sphere—a magical forest floating in mid air, Structural bones of something utterly new, beautiful, and breathing with salvaged life.
